Our Hot Spare / Repair Service Program offers a triple value to participating CF1000 PLUS™ Continuous Form Laser Printer owners. For $995 a year, it provides:

A loaner fuser assembly that you store with your other consumables, ready for you to pop in the printer without special tools, or, if you have a non-fuser failure…

A loaner printer, delivered next business day via overnight service, followed by…

Unlimited repair service, regardless of the number of pages printed, including all time and materials, with the exception of user installable consumables.

The user installable consumables not covered by this agreement are the toner, fuser wiper felt, OPC drum, developer, and ozone filter. All other parts and assemblies in the printer are covered, including the loaner fuser assembly. (The fuser is a consumable that will normally wear out over time. The on-site spare gets you up and running same day.)

Synergystex is responsible for delivering the replacement fuser assembly, the prepaid overnight shipping cost of a loaner if required, and the ground shipping of your repaired fuser assembly or printer. The end user only pays for the ground shipping of the printer to be repaired and for the ground shipping of the worn out fuser assembly or loaner printer.

We will not cover equipment or parts that have been misused, altered, neglected, handled or shipped carelessly, or used for purposes other than those for which they were manufactured. We will not cover loss, damages resulting from accident, or damages resulting from unauthorized service or from unauthorized consumables that we determine to have caused a failure. Users do not have to buy our consumables, but they cannot use third party consumables that shorten engine life or cause premature part/assembly failures.

Before a used printer can be put under contract, it must be shipped to our facility so that we can determine what, if anything, must be done to it to bring it up to an acceptable-for-coverage condition. If in the meantime a loaner printer is required, the end user will be asked to fax to us a purchase order for $995. Once we know what has to be done, we will ask the end user to revise the PO to cover both the repair and the agreement amount.

CF1000 PLUS owners who do not require overnight shipping of the loaner printer may take advantage of the service at a lower annual cost. This cost will be determined based on the service chosen, i.e. Ground, 2nd Day Air, 3 day Select, carry-in, etc.
